Why is it hard for some religious people to accept that people are born ''in the wrong body''?

i can understand how it is uncomfortable to imagine someone 'changing' their gender because she/he has the illusion of being that gender, but i do also understand how we do not live in a perfect world where people are born perfect, so for someone to be ''born in the wrong body'' seems possible
