My boyfriend said he's been treated for his std (hpv) should i believe this?

i got an hpv from my bofyriend and i got treated. i brought up him getting treated every chance i got, i ddnt do it to the point where it was annoying but i would briefly tell him how important it was. well i brought it up today and he said he got treated, he says that he was given two pills and told he needed to wait a week for the medicine to clean his system out. I just dont believe it because i think if he had of been going to get treated he would of told me before or when he did it. he says its been almost a week. does anyone know what the doctor does for males? (he says he didnt have a perscription they just gave him two pills at the doctor)
