Omg I need eyebrow help ASAP!?

ok so lots of my friends that are girls (im a guy btw) said i should trim, wax, or do something with my eyebrows because they were hairy. then last night i had just got back from getting a late night snack from a restaurant that is open 24hrs i turned on the tv and where i leave from 12am to like 8am there are just commercials where they sell stuff and as i was flipping through channels there was a trimmer for nose, eyebrows, and sideburns. i was like thats what i need! i ddnt want to get different shape eyebrows but just trimmed so the girls would stop. so i ddnt buy the one on tv because i thought it would be cheap and break. so today i went to wal greens and brought a look a like but it was remington it cost me $10 so i took it home and tryed it out. i put on the "long" attachment to see how much it would take off of hair. and it ddnt even take anything off. so then i put on "short" and i went over my left eyebrow once but i pushed down as well. and when i take it off my eyebrow is gone! not completely but its so noticable. so i was like omg! 1hour later after finding a rememdy. (i used a black color pencil) it looks almost the same. but its still way different from the right one. so i wanted to know if this happened to you would you trim the other one too to the same exact length of the left one or would you just leave it. i mean it looks so weird. one is real hair and the other is completely black. my hair isnt really close together so you can like see the skin but with the color pencil it is all black! please help on what i can, should do. i was reading online and it said i should use rogaine but im not sure. thank you for your time and answers.
