Does anyone know what i can do to keep my belly button peircing from getting infected?

i got my belly button peirced abt 3 months ago and it was fine a little while after i got it. but for some odd reason it keeps gettin infected but it doesnt hurt and i want to know what i can do to get it to heal and look the way it normally should. i dont want to have to take it out. i was told to use sea salt and water on a towel as a compress twice a day but that ddnt seem to help. should i try that again or no? anyone have any ideas?
